Rube Goldberg Science Night Activity
When: SPRING 2020
Where: Monroe Grade School
Time: TBA (evening)
What: Make a Rube Goldberg machine at home with your family
Requirements:
1. Must have at least 3 different simple machines: Lever, pulley, inclined plane, wedge, screw, or wheel and axle.
2. Student must be able to explain all of the steps and how the simple machines work.
3. Must have an end goal. For example, feeding an animal, popping a balloon, making a car roll down a hill, turning on a light, etc. Below you will find examples to help guide your thoughts.
***Keep in mind that these are extreme videos. I expect the students' work to be much less advance, but I hope this gives you some ideas. HAVE FUN!!
